As a physician and photographer, art and science have long been intertwined in Chris' life. This unique combination of careers is synergistic and makes him both a better doctor and artist.
Ever since being handed his first SLR camera on a family trip to London, his passion for photography has continued to flourish. As a self-trained photographer, his main interests are landscape and travel photography. The majority of his photos are from the Rocky Mountains, desert southwest, and coastal regions.
Chris recently moved from Denver, Colorado to the Big Sky country of Bozeman, Montana. There he joined a local pediatric practice and is excited to explore the vast mountains of his new home state.
His career in medicine affords him the opportunity to pursue photography with the passion that it deserves. Accordingly, in the last few years he has started featuring his photography at local galleries and has been published by National Geographic Calendar, Backpacker Magazine, Digital Photography Magazine, among others.
His work was selected as a semi-finalist in multiple contests, including the prestigious American Landscape Photographer of the Year and the Wildland Rice Photography awards.
Although he is not currently showing in a local gallery, he is actively looking for a space to display his photography - stay tuned!
All of his photographs are available for purchase in a variety of sizes and formats, including traditional framed prints, gallery mounted, acrylic, and aluminum. If there is a custom order request or quote, please Contact Us. Furthermore, he collaborates on both residential and corporate art projects both locally and throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
